1. Don’t buy too much. Just like with any fashion accessory, less is more
2. Make sure that you buy a piece that accentuates the lingerie and doesn’t detract from it
3. Colour match all pieces, for example if you are going to be wearing red satin gloves then it is best to buy a piece of costume jewellery that is gold and has a clear glass rock on it.
4. Avoid broaches on lingerie. Choose items for your fingers or earrings only, like rings, necklaces, ankle bracelets and so forth
