I have been wanting to buy myself a silver charm bracelet and have been considering “investing” in a tiffany bracelet. Does it really matter if it is from tiffany’s or from a place like things remembered? Does tiffany’s jewelry really appreciate in value?
one of my friend suggest that “Tiffany is a brand of a very large corporation in the business, so you pay for advertising, marketing, sales, stores, … I dont see any recent Tiffany piece as an investment at all, especially since they use high mark-ups to cover their costs. Vintage pieces are a whole different story of course, but I presume you are not looking for a Sotheby’s level piece.
